News Bristol Tournament

ImageThe Bristol Softball Association is looking to encourage and support leagues local to Bristol to play in tournaments with qualified umpires and marked out pitches. The tournament is primarily aimed at D level teams from Cardiff / Swindon / Clifton / Cheltenham and Bristol. They are hoping to get 16 teams playing on the weekend of the 23rd/24th of May.

Our very own Pontcanna Pirates have already entered a team for the weekend . They are inviting any other Cardiff Softball players to come along if they so wish to help ensure they have a full team and give the league a good account of itself. If there is a larger amount of interest, then it may be possible to form a second team.

If you are interested in playing then please contact the Pirates captain, Adam Farr via the Website, (you can email him from the Contacts page on the Home menu).

A little more about the tournament.

The tournament will be very recreational - D level, so there won;t be any GB squad members etc playing.

The usual 2 day, 8 game schedule will apply, food and drink will available etc. Camping will be available at site, there will be a disco at the ground on Saturday night, making there a good reason to camp!
